About the
pledge
Less than 15% of Saskatchewan kids get the 60 minutes of physical activity they need every day. We’re not OK with that and we’re awarding one lucky community $10,000 to help do something about it.
The in motion Community Pledge Challenge asks Saskatchewan to pledge to do just one thing to make physical activity the easy choice for kids – simple things like walking kids to school, being an active role model or reducing screen time. Every pledge puts registered communities one step closer to winning $10,000 for a community project that helps kids move more.
Individuals and families: Make sure the kids you care about have what they need to move every day. Pledge to do just one thing to make it happen.
Communities: Register your community to win $10,000, rally community members to take the pledge and prepare an entry that tell us how you’ll use the money to make physical activity the easy choice for the kids in your community.
Saskatchewan in motion is a movement of people like you who want this generation of kids to be healthy and active. We work with communities, schools, workplaces and individuals to get kids moving more. Learn more
