FAQ

Can I take the pledge if my community isn’t registered?

Yes, you can take the pledge at any time. However, if your community isn’t registered at the time you pledge, your pledge cannot be retroactively added to your community’s total when your community does register. Here’s how you can get your community registered.

Can anyone register a community?

Anyone can register a community online, but only a mayor or chief can sign the registration form that must be faxed to Saskatchewan in motion to complete the process.  Send this email to ask your mayor or chief to sign and return the registration form to suport your community's entry.

Why do I need to involve my mayor or chief?

We want to ensure that any project considered has the backing of the community.

My community is registered, but I don’t see it on the list.

Community registration is a two-step process. Your community won’t be listed until it is registered online and we receive a completed registration form signed by your mayor or chief.

I registered my community online and faxed in our signed submission. How long until we’re listed online?

Our goal is to process all community registrations within 48 hours. It could take longer if we receive your registration on the weekend.

We want to hear your story! Made the pledge? Met your commitment? What did you do? How did it go?

We want to hear how you're in motion and part of a solution to improve the health of our kids!
